Local Books
Just before Christmas we published two new books about the local area. "A Retford Miscellany" brings together little-known historical facts about Retford, pieced together from archives, old newspaper articles and out-of-print books by local historian, Paul Meads. "Tales from a North Nottinghamshire Farmer" takes the reader out into the countryside in and around North Leverton and is a collection of historical anecdotes written by the late Bob Gray. Both books are priced at £7.99 each and are available from the shop or by mail order on our Publications page.

Games Workshop
We are stockists for the Games Workshop range of miniatures and books, from boxed sets to individual pots of paint. We have held figure painting and game sessions in the shop and plan further events in the future. Please come and take a look at what we're up to. For those of you unable to visit the shop we can offer a mail order service.
