Bookworm is an independent bookshop established by Angela and Paul Meads in 1992. Staffed by experienced booksellers who love books, we aim to offer the highest quality of service. We are able to order any British book in print and are happy to send it anywhere in the world. We also stock a range of greetings cards, wrapping paper, posters and trading card games and are stockists of Games Workshop and Papo products. On Monday 19th July we welcome Michele Monro, daughter of the late, great, singer Matt Monro. The ticket price of £3 includes a glass of wine, nibbles and £3 off a copy of the book.Tickets are available now at the shop and can be reserved on 01777 869224. Places are strictly limited.

We received so many requests for a cookbook for the halogen oven that we decided to publish our own! Games Workshop Stockists
We are pleased to announce that we are now stockists for Games Workshop miniatures and books. We will be stocking all sorts of things, from the Assault on Black Reach set (pictured below) to individual pots of paint. We have recently held figure painting sessions and a painting competition in the shop. Please come and take a look at what we're up to.
For those of you unable to visit the shop we can offer a mail order service.
New Book Tokens
We now have the new electronic version of the National Book Token which has just launched. The credit card sized token will still be sold with a card but recipents will be able to top up or part use the tokens. We think you'll also be less likely to lose the new tokens. By the way, you'll still be able to use any old paper tokens that you find around the house - they have no expiry date.
